Consumables we offer are not different from our competitors’ products. To provide competitiveness for our products on the market, we have developed our own design, considering the price factor, too. This product is a Braille dot matrix for Braille print on medicine cardboard packaging. We are proud of the fact that we have been able to find a solution out of our own technological resources, offering the customer an easy-to-use product at a reasonable price, which was received surprisingly well.
- In order to fully satisfy customer demands, by using special software we can design and produce packaging of the type and parameters which manufacturers will find easy to put in production. Combining skills from highly qualified specialists and special-purpose software makes possible the realization of the perfect packaging, which is the basis for faster customer end product marketing.
- The making of a cutting die includes the process of laser cutting. For that purpose we use a highly efficient and accurate CNC laser cutting machine. The high level of precision and speed of the machine ensures minimal error accumulation within ± 0.025 mm. These parameters provide the quality, speed and accuracy of cutting die operations.
- For purposes of package design monitoring, i.e. dimensions, type, material and stability control, a scale 1:1 sample/model is created before producing the cutting die. The model is made from the packaging material and is cut out on a special machine called CNC model cutting plotter. During the process of model making, we pay particular attention to:
- Exact measurements
- Type and direction of cutting of package material; it must be absolutely identical to sample characteristics.
- This is a process of bending the metal strip – cutting or creasing rule, cut out by the CNC laser cutting machine. The operation is performed by:
- Qualified operators who have completed a special training course.
- Automatic bending machines processing the metal rule with high precision and accuracy.
- Semi-automatic machines, designed after years of experience of the mother company.
- The aim of manufacturers of packaging to reduce the amount of manual labor and increase output at the same time has lead to a wide use of machines that comprise a stripping section, where stripping dies are used beside the cutting dies. They consist of three parts – male, female and a guillotine. The ultimate goal in using stripping dies is to reduce the cost of end product – packaging, which promotes competitiveness and improves the market.
- As in other areas, the most expensive resource in packaging industry is time. Setting up the cutting tools takes a lot of time. For larger production runs, most effective are counter plates in Pertinax, known also as Rillma or counter dies, replacing the typical and widely used counter dies, applicable mainly in small production series.
